This Privacy and Cookie Notice provides information on how Institute for Social Transformation (IST) collects and 
processes your personal data when you visit our website or mobile applications.

We collect your personal data in order to provide and continually improve our products and services. 
 
We may collect, use, store and transfer the following different kinds of personal data about you: 
 
· Information you provide to us: We receive and store the information you provide to us including your 
identity data, contact data, delivery address and financial data. 
 
· Information on your use of our website and/or mobile applications: We automatically collect and store 
certain types of information regarding your use of the Institute for Social Transformation (IST) marketplace including 
information about your searches, views, downloads and purchases. 
 
· Information from third parties and publicly available sources: We may receive information about you 
from third parties including our carriers; payment service providers; merchants/brands; and advertising 
service providers. 
 
3. Cookies and how we use them 
 
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we put on your computer if you agree. 
 
Cookies allow us to distinguish you from other users of our website and mobile applications, which helps 
us to provide you with an enhanced browsing experience. For example we use cookies for the following 
 
 
purposes: 
 
 
· Recognizing and counting the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they 
are using it (this helps us to improve the way our website works, for example by ensuring that users can 
find what they are looking for). 
 
· Identifying your preferences and subscriptions e.g. language settings, saved items, items stored in your 
basket and Prime membership; and 
 
· Sending you newsletters and commercial/advertising messages tailored to your interests. 
 
Our approved third parties may also set cookies when you use our marketplace. Third parties include 
search engines, providers of measurement and analytics services, social media networks and advertising 
companies. 
 
4. How we use your personal data 
We use your personal data to operate, provide, develop and improve the products and services that we 
offer, including the following: 
 
Registering you as a new customer. 
Processing and delivering your orders. 
Managing your relationship with us. 
Enabling you to participate in promotions, competitions and surveys. 
Improving our website, applications, products and services 
 Recommending/advertising products or services which may be of interest to you. 
 
 Complying with our legal obligations, including verifying your identity where necessary. 
 
 
 
Detecting  fraud. 
5. How we share your personal data 
We may need to share your personal data with third parties for the following purposes: 
 
· Sale of products and services: In order to deliver your products and services purchased on our 
marketplace from third parties, we may be required to provide your personal data to such third parties. 
 
· Working with third party service providers: We engage third parties to perform certain functions on our 
behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders for products or services, delivering packages, analyzing data, 
providing marketing assistance, processing payments, transmitting content, assessing and managing credit 
risk, and providing customer service. 
 
· Business transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or 
services. In such transactions, customer information may be transferred together with other business 
assets. 
 
 
· Detecting fraud and abuse: We release account and other personal data to other companies and 
organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction, and to comply with the law. 
 
When we share your personal data with third parties we: 
 
· require them to agree to use your data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy and Cookie Notice, 
our Privacy Policy and in accordance with the law; and 
 
· only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our 
instructions. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own

6. International transfers 
 
We may transfer your personal data to locations in another country, if this is permissible pursuant to 
applicable laws in your location. There are inherent risks in such transfers. 
 
In the event of international transfers of your personal data, we shall put in place measures necessary to 
protect your data, and we shall continue to respect your legal rights pursuant to the terms of this Privacy 
and Cookie Notice and applicable laws in your location. 
 
7. Data security 
 
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally 
lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. 
 
In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third 
parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions 
and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. 
 
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and 
any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. 
 
8. Your legal rights 
 
It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if 
your personal data changes during your relationship with us. 
 
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, 
including the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, object to or restrict processing of your 
 
 
personal data, and unsubscribe from our emails and newsletters.

DELIVERY 
 
Delivery times: We try our best to make sure that you get your order within 50 
minutes of placing it. It’s important that you remain at the delivery address you’ve 
given us to receive your order. If you’re not in to receive your order the delivery rider 
may try to call you, and we are not able to refund for delivery orders as all of our food 
is freshly cooked and we can’t resell it. 
Delays: Sometimes there may be reasons outside of our control that mean we can’t 
deliver your order within our targeted delivery time. Please check the progress of your 
order on the order status page. In the rare event that delivery is seriously delayed we 
may have to cancel your order. We will of course notify you of this and ensure that 
you are given a full refund. 
Delivery drivers: We use third party delivery specialists to deliver orders from our 
restaurants to your door. Our delivery services partners have been hand-picked to 
provide the best possible service, so please let us know if you have received 
outstanding service or if you are unhappy with the service you have received by 
giving us your feedback here, and we will pass this on. 
Delivery riders will only deliver to the main door/reception when delivering to 
apartment blocks, flats or hotels, so please make sure you come to meet them there. 
Please be nice to your delivery rider they are bringing you yummy JERKY FOOD! 
We reserve the right to blacklist any delivery address if any delivery Rider reports 
aggressive or abusive behavior towards them. 
Use of our products: We deliver our products to you so that you can enjoy them 
yourself or with your friends and family. You agree that you will not re-sell any 
Market Garden App products delivered to you or use them for any other 
 
 
commercial purposes. 
 
 
                    Jamaican Jerky Fresh & Frozen Food Return Policy 
 
We don't accept returns on perishable food items or items 
which cannot be re-sold for health reasons once unwrapped or defrosted. 
 
Reasonable care of goods: You must take reasonable care of frozen 
products to be returned and store them in an appropriate manner, e.g. 
frozen products must be kept in a freezer. Unless the products were mis 
described on our App or are faulty, we may require you to return the 
products at your own cost.  
 
We will accept returns on frozen product providing it has not been 
defrosted or removed from its wrapping. We can only accept return of 
frozen products the same day up to 4 hours of purchase. Contact our 
Customer Service on 0775 999 009 for more information on how to return 
product.   
 
Fresh poultry are classed under perishable items; we don’t accept returns 
on perishable items.  
 
Market Garden App Return Policy 
 
 Amending your order: you can cancel or amend your order at any 
time by sending a whatsApp to our Customer service dept on 
0775 999 009 within 10 mins of ordering through our App. If the 
order value remains the same value or less, there are no 
limitations on how many times you can amend the order. All 
increases in order value are subject to the pre-authorization check 
 
 
on your payment account. 
 Cancelling your order: You also have a legal right to cancel an 
order at any time within the given time frame of 10 mins.  You can 
notify us of your decision to cancel and receive a refund by 
whatsApp or Telephone Customer Service on 041 4665496. This 
right to cancel does not apply to orders over the 10 mins time 
window. Refunds will take 7 working days to process. Once 
processed we will send your refund by mobile money or you can 
pick from any of our outlets

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MOBILE ORDERING 
These terms and conditions apply to all orders for Mobile Ordering made through the 
Market Garden Mobile App mobile application (the “App”), so it’s important 
that you read through them before you submit an order. By submitting an order on our 
App, you are telling us that you agree to everything set out here. We may need to 
change these terms and conditions from time to time – the terms posted on this page at 
the time that you submit your order will be the ones that apply to your order. 
Market Garden Mobile App stores in Uganda are owned and operated either 
by the company Limited (“Market Garden Mobile App”) or by one of its 
subsideries. When you place and confirm a Mobile order on our App, JAMAICAN 
JERKY MOBILE APP will accept your order either on its own behalf or as an agent 
on behalf of its subsidiaries. If we accept an order on behalf of one of our subsidiaries, 
the legal contract relating to your order is between you and the franchisee that 
operates the store which fulfils your order. 
You can only place an order on our App if you’re over the age of 13. If you are at least 
13 years old but not yet 18 years old, you must review these terms and conditions with 
your parent or guardian. If you place an order, you are confirming to us that you are 
either at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to buy our 
 
 
products, or are at least 13 years old but not yet 18 years old and have your parent or 
guardian’s permission to enter into a contract to buy our products. 
 
 
 
 
REGISTRATION 
 
Account: The only way for you to place a Mobile Order is to create a JAMAICAN 
JERKY MOBILE APP account with us. When you create an account, we will ask you 
to give us the information that we need to process your order, including your name 
and contact details. We will rely on this information, so please ensure that all details 
you give us are true, accurate and complete and please update your account if your 
details change. When you provide us with your email address, we will take this as 
confirmation that you are happy for e-mail to be used as our primary form of 
communication for contractual purposes. 
Security: When you create an account, you will be asked to select a username and 
password, which will be used to secure your account. The security of your account is 
your responsibility and you will be responsible if someone else uses your account, 
unless you can prove that your account was accessed fraudulently. So please don’t 
share your username and password with anyone else! If you believe that the security 
of your account has been compromised, please let us know immediately so that we 
can investigate what has happened. We may need to suspend your account while we 
carry out our investigation. 
Verification: We may need to verify the information you have provided to us when 
registering your account, using a verification email sent to your given email address. 
To enable us to complete our verification process we may need to access relevant 
information about you held by third parties (including social networks). By registering 
with us, you are agreeing to this verification process and to us accessing relevant 
information held by third parties. Your use of our App may be limited until we have 
 
 
completed our verification process. 
Data Protection: We will collect, store and process your personal information in 
accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions. 
Please have a read of our Privacy Policy to make sure you are happy with its contents. 
By creating an account, you are telling us that you have read and understood 
everything set out in our Privacy Policy 
 
PRODUCTS FOR Market Garden Mobile App MOBILE 
ORDERING 
 
The Market Garden Mobile App menu items available to order via Mobile 
Ordering are shown on the menu pages on the App for the restaurant you select, as 
updated from time to time. Our products are made fresh to order, so although we make 
your food with a lot of love, at times the products you order may vary slightly from 
the images of the products shown on our App or website. 
Prices: The prices of our products shown on the Mobile Ordering restaurant menu 
pages are updated from time to time. Prices may vary from store to store and 
depending on the type, quantity and/or size of the products ordered as well as any 
variations, amendments or upgrades you order. All our prices are inclusive of VAT 
and any other applicable taxes. Should you require a VAT receipt for your order please 
contact delivery@Market Garden Mobile App.co.uk and include your order 
confirmation email. We will do our best to get this to you as quickly as possible, but it 
may take up to 28 days when we are exceptionally busy.
